  David Lane combines extensive experience in executive search with a passion for the personal connections that so often drive business success.Prior to founding Lane Partners, David was a Managing Partner of executive search firm Kingsbury Wax Bova, where he played a central role in the firm’s success and growth during his 10-year tenure. David also brings his experience in sales and business development to the practice of executive search. He began his career in the laundry business, helping entrepreneurs establish laundromat and dry cleaning businesses. He later recruited franchisees for AlphaGraphics, a fast-growing, state-of-the-art print franchise company. He participated in the start-up of EPIC (Electronic Publishing Innovations Center), a digital print and fulfillment services business owned by Courier Corporation of Chelmsford, Massachusetts. EPIC pioneered key advances in this emerging industry, creating a state-of-the-art electronic library to store text and images for frequently changing content. A New Jersey native, David received his B.A. from Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts, on Boston’s North Shore. A two-time All America college soccer player, David traveled internationally, competing in Africa, Spain, Ecuador, and Peru. He lives in Reading, Massachusetts with his wife Carol and his two children Matthew and Amy. Outside of work and family life, David stays active playing indoor soccer and hitting the gym three or four times a week, as well as his latest challenge: golf.
